Leijona-Hockey School

In the EVU hockey school, children learn skating skills and get acquainted with the basics of ice hockey through playful exercises and games. After the hockey school we provide them with the opportunity to continue their involvement in the club’s ice hockey teams. Alternatively, they can join the hockey school again in the following season.

The hockey school is intended for 4–8-year-olds and includes a gym session on Wednesdays. During the gym session, children develop basic motor skills through various games and obstacle courses. The practices follow the training programs of the Finnish Ice Hockey Association’s Leijona-Hockey School, and the instructors have completed the Leijona-Hockey School instructor training.
